Al-Milal started its new year with a sad bit of news, the passing away of an important Pakistani scholar, Madam Darakhshan ‘Azam (d. late 2019) who had been fighting cancer for a few years now. Besides her vast teaching and research experience in Comparative Religion at IIUI, she was a sincere advisor and pioneer reviewer of our journal. May Allah guide her to the highest of stations in His heavens!
We would like to share some of our achievements this year. The January to June Issue of the journal (2020) is in your hands. One of the prominent features of this issue is that it has been finalized following instructions of HEC for X-Category Recognition, employing all relevant research guidelines and criteria, reviewing policy during its compilation. In addition, Al-Milal has received approval from more than 10 renowned indexing agencies, among which the attainment of Crossref's DOI number is note-worthy.
Of the 31 research articles received for this issue, Al-Milal is publishing 15 national and international researchers’ the most imperative and diverse articles. It contains 6 English, 2 Arabic, and 7 Urdu articles. The selection of these articles was carried out according to HEC’s defined standards as well as in the light of internal and external feedback and other scientific and technical consideration.
